So this one is from yesterday’s lunch that I hosted for my fellow blogger mommies and my dear friend @realkaranmehra. The lunch was at @ostaadmumbai which has Middle Eastern cuisine. We tried some amazing dishes like Daal makhani with Khameeri Roti, mixed vegies, some yummy starters like mushroom and chicken kebabs and some firni and Bakhlava for desserts. A super yummy day with amazing company. @jaguar_india & @landrover_in sent their cars to pick up all of us, so that we could have a fabulous drive experience while going and coming back from the lunch .

Me when @kiaansachar goes to school and @ivaansachar takes a long afternoon nap. And then it’s the loud cry of baby IV that gets me out of my dream and back to my new reality. The reality that I am a mommy of 2 boys now. But does that mean that I can’t have time to myself, that I can’t do things I love doing or that I loose myself because now I have added responsibilities . These little responsibilities are overwhelming but sometimes it might seem impossible to manage everything together. Yes it’s definitely difficult, but if planned properly it’s not Impossible.
Wanna know how ? Keep reading.

1. Try and keep urself calm in a situation where you really can’t do much.
2. Reach out for help from, family members and friends you trust with your kids.
3. Plan your every single day .
4 . Master the art of time management to make sure you are at right place at right time.
5. Get the kids use to being around the family members when you have to step out.
6. Get you partner equally involved so that he can manage kids while you have to step out.

If these few things can be managed, things can definitely get easier for all the mothers after having kids and the whole journey of motherhood can be more enjoyable as you don’t have to completely miss out on things that you love to do..

A big shoutout to all the daddies and the other family members around a new mom. It’s breastfeeding week going on, but there is no special occasion or time frame that the awareness for breastfeeding specifically needs. Being a second time mom to baby IV @ivaansachar has been the best decision as we were sure that we wanted a sibling for Kiki @kiaansachar. But motherhood is not easy and let’s be realistic about it. Have gone through it once to take a decision to go through the whole process of pregnancy and specially breastfeeding was not an easy one. Breastfeeding can take a crazy toll on the mother n can be very stressful for various reason like, low breast milk supply, body pain for long sitting hours, pressure from others to keep feeding the baby just cause he is crying (even if the reason could be a wet diaper).
It is sad that while a new mom is already going through so much physically, mentally and emotionally she has to go through this pressure too. It is sad that most of the times this becomes the main cause of moms not wanting to feed the baby longer.

The real support to these mommies would be to firstly give them their space and then completely let them be the decision makers. It’s very important to have right support from the husband and the family to be happy and to enjoy this beautiful and most natural process of breastfeeding .

At the same time mommies who are unable to breastfeed due to lack of milk supply, baby unable to latch or any other reason don’t need to feel guilty for raising a baby on top feed as there are live examples of top fed babies being equally healthy and good on immunity like breastfed babies.
So let’s make this journey of motherhood and the feeding process absolutely stress free and the most memorable one 🤱🏻

Being a mom is worth every stretch mark, every wrinkle and all the sleepless nights. The touch of those little fingers, that look from those high on milk eyes and love from that little heart is the world and there is nothing beyond..
Motherhood has made me value every single thing done my by mom.. those sleepless night, no time for food, and when finally you sit to eat a meal, that diaper change call..
i am sure we have all heard this from our parents...you will only understand when you become a parent 🤣
Yes today being a mom of 2 boys I completely understand what that sentence means...
